I was very pleasantly surprised. The book is beautifully done - Filled with full colour photos, black and white photos and illustrations of African Violets and also the pests and diseases that can trouble them. Very authoritative and up to date with the latest information, diagnosis and solutions are offered for each problem one might encounter, from beneficial insects, to home remedies, to chemical controls.
The author is well known to Violet and Gesneriad growers across the US and Canada, and is a frequent contributor to Chatter and AVSA Magazine. We are so lucky that she has decided to put her talent to work on this wonderful book for us! The book is worth every penny and much more. It will be a permanent part of my reference library, and I'm looking forward eagerly to her next endeavor.
