This is a good book for the beginner or for anyone who wants to try incubating chicks. It's not much on the illustrations, but it's still enjoyable.
If you're looking for a beginner's book with lots of info on all the various breeds it isn't this book. This goes more into the very basic; raising of mail order chicks, incubating, coops, showing chicks, etc.
