I've been looking for a garden design book, directed to the homeowner rather than the aspiring professional landscaper. This book does a good job of introducing design concepts without going over a homeowners head. I found it via an Amazon.com recommendation based on other books I'd looked at. It was even in the bargain book bin - what a deal.
