This is a great book on "unusual" herbs. The author covers 60 uncommon herbs, including the history and lore of each, instructions for how to grow (she even lists the companion plants she has for each in her own garden) and various culinary uses of each herb. For each of the herbs at least one recipe is given.
I purchased this book beause I have seeds for Kaffir Lime, Curry Leaf, Mitsuba and Perilla that I will be growing this season and wanted more information on how to grow them. This book has provided that and so much more!
Although this book is out of out of print there were plenty available used for under $10.00 from Amazon.com merchants at the time of this review - well worth the money.
