While this book doesn't offer indepth information for each plant, it is beautifully illustrated and provides the information needed for successful planting.
It has around 1,500 color photos that are helpful for identifying plants. Common names are given with the correct botanical name. The common name index makes it easy to go straight to the right plant.
I see Amazon.com doesn't have it at this point, but I picked my copy up at a Barnes and Noble retail store.
