The plants described are those that were common in days of old when "Cutting Gardens" were common and popular.
The equipment & supplies necessary are common and inexpensive, and the book is filled with inspiring full-color photos. The author also provides enough background & source information without overwhelming one with too much technical info. The author lays out all of the steps, invaluable shortcuts, & "Tricks of the Trade" that enable any gardener with the ability to present professional-grade floral arrangements in one season.
The book itself is an enjoyable read as the author presents the information in a whimsical, humorous manner that holds your attention from cover to cover.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all flower gardeners, regardless of intent.
