Very handy when trying to choose a particular cultivar--unlike the bigger Vertrees book, there's a picture for each cultivar. My only wish is that there were separate pictures for spring color, fall color, leaf, and habit--usually there's only one "highlight" picture. However, the whole point of this book is that it's a pocket guide, so within that format it succeeds admirably.
