a very lovely reference book, filled with lots of info on different herbs and spices. plus lots of pictures and description of herbs and spices the world over.
info provided are culinary uses, tasting notes, parts used, buying and storing, harvesting, plus plenty of recipes on herbs and spices combination - not commonly publish.
recipes also includes; herb and spice mixtures, sauces and condiments, soups and light dishes, fish, meats, vegetables, pasta, noodles and grains and desserts and drinks.
i have been greatly interested in understanding different cuisines from other cultures, which is what led me to buy numerous books on herbs and spices.
to others who has the passion in cooking like i do, i highly recommend to add this book to their reference collections. i am sure my daughter, and daughter's-in-law, and grand daughters will be enjoying this book and hopefully pass down to other generations.
