This book was a gift and is well used and cherished. It has a wide variety of plants and their care. This book also covers plant suggestions for special situations (i.e. bird, butterflies, deer, shade, arid, windy, rock, container and more). If I find any confusion, it is their climate zones which are rated differently.
All in all, an excellent addition to the "green" library and a frequently used reference.
Very much like the Sunset Western Garden Book, but covers all of the US and Southern Canada. Explanation of each of the 45 zones and lists of suggested plants for specific use included.
