This is an well written and beautifully illustrated book on Aeoniums, one of the more spectacular of the succulent species. Schulz is a well known author of succulent and cactus books, and this is one of his most recent productions. It contains just over 200 pages of text and hundreds of excellent color photographs of plants in the wild as well as cultivation. There is a section on the species, geographic locations, cultivation in pots and gardens, one on pests and diseases and one on propagation. It is well indexed and covers just about anything one needs to have covered if one is interested in learning about and/or growing these plants. And it is so well illustrated it makes a good coffee table book as well.
