Really useful when you're trying to choose a grass or learn about species with which you're unfamiliar. Darke is pretty upfront about pros and cons--he'll tell you if a grass is self-seeding or sprawling in habit. Great pictures of just about every cultivar that he discusses, too!
I attended one of Rick Dark'es presentations about using grasses in the landscape and just had to have this book afterwards. Fantastic information and ideas, this is one book I will never regret paying full price for!
