A great book that is small enough to fit in a backpack or camera bag, but has over 400 pages.

Color plates of each plant with a description of it and its uses. There is a warning guide to tell readers of possible ill effects. The symbols range fro highly toxic to possible dermatitis. There is also a symbol to tell readers which plants are used in modern medicine.

As with all Peterson Field Guides, it is easy to use and understand.
