Beautiful book, with a nice listing of plants to use in the southwest. There's a wide range of environments from LA to El Paso so plants useful for the coast aren't necessarily useful inland, but all the chosen plants are beautiful. They also do a good job of describing the "envelope" method of development where the native vegetation is preserved during construction. All in all a well thought out, inspiring book.
