A regional (Pacific Northwest) gardening guide from
1980 by June Cappetto, who was "Gardener of the Year"
that same year by the Seattle chapter of WA Federation of Garden Clubs. She had a radio show and was published in the local papers.
She taught using or letting be the natural plants (weeds) along with the vegetables and incorporating them as food and helpers with growing.
Its now more accepted but back then a bit radical for a better word. Folksy style in her writing makes her message effective.
Out of print - some used book stores around Seattle hopefully will have it to enjoy. (found 2)
