A very good read from an author who has personally gardened and she gives good advice. This is an older book and has black and white photos, though quite nice really.
She has many lists in this book as to bloom time, plants for shade, bulbs for borders, with sections for annuals, perennials, bulbs, roses..etc. This book is filled with landscape plans and lists of what to grow where, and when they bloom.
All in all, I would recommend this book for anyone who likes flowers and wants to know about growing them. She also has a chapter on foliage and how to use it, as well as what to grow for flower arrangements in mind.
