This is an excellent book of examples of preserving techniques and recipes passed down through generations that we could use today! There are 250 recipes and I plan on trying as many as possible!

Book's extended title:
"Preserving Food Without freezing or Canning: Traditional techniques using salt, oil, sugar, alcohol, vinegar, drying, cold storage and lactic fermentation"
