turn-of-the-century wealthy couple and the consequences of their choices.
Underlying is the story of the establishment of Shore Acres State Park along
Oregon's rugged coastline. The Park today is five acres of formal garden of
plants brought from around the world including Japanese pool area designed
by an award-winning landscape architect. The Park near Coos Bay, Oregon
draws thousands of visitors year round including Christmas season with
displays of over 100,000 lights for night viewing of the garden set at the
edge of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
