This book taught me a lot about not having to take out weeds of my garden during the growing season. We prepare the soil and then we plant our seed and/or plants, and wait until the weeds come. Then we weed and weed and weed until the fruit on our vegetable plants shows up for harvesting. Edward Smith show you how to grow a weed free garden, less time weeding and more time enjoying other things. I mean you still have to water and fertilize (hopefully organically), but Really free time away from weeding. He talks about wide rows, organic methods, raised beds, and deep soil (roots need somewhere to grow). I love this Book and look at it daily during the planting and growing, and harvest season. which is most of the year. I got this book from Amazon.
