Am half way through this book. Find it both funny and informative. Have just discovered that Nichols has three trilogies of gardening books, based on the two cottages and the one manor house (Merry Hall) he owned. I'd like to get hold of the other eight books. Does anybody know anything about them? Further, according to Nichols' website, someone is giving a talk in San Mateo, Ca., about Nichols and Elizabeth Lawrence, whom I also find a wonderful garden writer. If I lived in California, I would attend, but I live in Dundas, Ontario. Aside from K. White, are there other garden writers who discuss their gardens in such an interesting fashion?
