I got this in the bargain bin and it was worth every cent. A great basic reference that is easy to use and a good addition to any gardening library.

Perennial All-Stars is the one book that I always come back to! The 21 indexes are very helpful for beginning or advanced gardeners to find just what they're looking for. Each recommended plant has two pages that cover care & division, suggested companions, buying sources and alternative cultivars. The information is still good many years after publication date as most of the varieties are even easier to find now. This book beats out the other 150 that I've checked out at my local public library.
