This is the first down-to-earth (no pun intended - haha) companion gardening book that I have come across. The author talks about when she first "switched" to organic gardening and most importantly how her garden failed miserably. She includes pictures of her own garden, so that you can see what yours can look like. It was exactly what I needed, not something telling me that if I plant basil with tomato I will be guaranteeing better success than if I plant them separately. I would recommend this book for anyone who needs some encouragement for going organic.
