This has been a long awaited book by many fern enthusiasts in climates where most of theses ferns can grow. What surprised me was there were a LOT more species than I thought- hundreds more! Here in So Cal you see planted maybe 10 species of Cyathea growing, but there are around 500 or more species of this plant- wow! Great photos, but of course, never photos of everything like we'd all like. Also limited discussion of the smaller tree ferns (eg. Blechnums). And no horticultural comments on each species requirements (guess that would be a long book... and probably a lot not known). Still, only book in this category. Must have for all warm weather fern growers.
