This book is exactly what it promises. It's also formatted in a manner making it easy to find specific information. For example, "pruning shrub roses" was easy to locate. Good diagrams too!

This was my very first rose book a few years ago and it's a great reference for people who are just starting out in roses. There is lots of information given in simple terms and in an easy-to-understand format. It's a great place to start.

This is a great reference book and really good for somewhat inexperienced rose growers (like me).
