Concentrates on plants that are available in Europe, but still very useful. Gives you an idea of some of the rarer and most unusual plants that are out there.
An excellent, excellent book. I have an extensive collection of plant books, and this is one of my favorites. It's highly informative, written in an expertly concise manner. The author offers many personal "tips" in the margins that often very helpful and noteworthy.
I strongly recommend this book to any gardener--the information it contains can be applied to indoor or outdoor plants, and can benefit the amateur and the expert!
Worth the investment of purchase and sitting on a shelf for that moment's notice worth of study and referencing!
