For the most part, the book looks at the characteristics and culture/caring of most (if not all) of the different irises which exist today. A chapter on hybridizing is both helpful and informative including everything from crossing of the iris, to the planting of it's seeds, to even a little advice on seedling selection. There is also a whole section on plants and diseases, which will prove helpful to anyone.
Color photos throughout the book enhance the enjoyment when reading this book. A very good book for anyone interested in irises. |
