Ms Caillet is the unrefuted expert on all things "Louisiana Iris"! This is an interesting addition to the library of a southern iris gardener...

Another recommendation for the Southern Iris gardener would be The Louisiana Iris ~ The Taming of a Native American Wildflower ~ Second Edition.

This is an excellent source of information on the culture and care of the Louisiana Iris--many color plates of a wide variety of the cultivars by a number of the breeders. If you only could choose on garden book on the Louisiana Iris--this should be it.
