This is an excellent book both in terms of informational content and beauty, written by one of the leading peony experts. It has sections on history & botany, cultivation, species peonies, and detailed information about many herbaceous, intersectional, and tree peony cultivars. Beautiful photography throughout the book, and a scientist's attention to detail.
