Very comprehensive soft covered book dealing with cultivating, growing, propagating Hellebores, and show-casing hybridizers from all over the world! The authors have given a lot of information on the botany & ecology of the Hellebore species. From discussing hybrids in the wild to ones in famous gardens around the world, many case histories are discussed, which are then further enhanced by full color photographs, which lend themselves beautifully to the text. At the conclusion of the book, an appendix lists "where to see Hellebores" in England and the United States. As well as, "where to purchase them" as plants or by seeds. Additional books on Hellebores are also listed for additional reading.
