This is the ultimate book for the lover of Japanese Maples. I don't think there has ever been a book that provides so much details on the culture of Japanese Maples. The book describes over 400 cultivars and is richly illustrated with over 300 pictures. The book covers all the maples native to Japan, not just Acer palmatum. It certainly gives an appreciation for the wonderful diversity that exists among Japanese Maples.
