On Feb 25, 2006, Revnrose wrote: I enjoy a coffee table book that also offers really useful information and engaging writing. The pictures are, of course, lovely; the text informative, clear, precise. I have become a better informed peony-purchaser (if not necessarily a better peony gardener -- no fault of the text!) because of this book, and that seems no small thing, given the expense of acquiring them and the investment of time and energy in bringing them into their greatest glory. |
