I have learned how to garden successfully in the Arizona low-desert climate, which is very different to most of the USA.
The information is arranged in chapters by plant type (cacti, shrubs, annuals, trees etc) and provides month-by-month activites on planning, planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning. At the beginning of each chapter is a list of plants that can survive in Arizona.
The information is written in plain English, there are no photos but some diagrams to illustrate pruning or planting concepts.
If you have moved to Arizona and want to garden in this state.... this book will teach you how to do it.
