While the timing information is useful, I personally feel that this author pushes use of chemicals in the garden excessively. For virtually every category it is recommended to dump chemical fertilizers on frequently as well as use herbicides and pesticides for any and all bugs/weeds. In addition the tone of the book is written such that if you don't do as they say you are WRONG... which is not true, there are many ways to garden sucessfully, not just one. Don't waste your money on the book.
