This is not the best gardening book I've read, but it's definitely useful if you're in Wisconsin and new to gardening, or if you've been gardening for a while but new to Wisconsin. Basically it is a catalogue of plants: annuals, bulbs, ground covers, grasses, perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, and vines that grow well in the state. Each plant includes a photo and information about planting and care. The book appears to be geared towards absolute beginners. |
