As big consumers of garlic, it made sense to grow garlic in the vegetable garden along side the basil and tomatoes. I wanted a book that would help me with cultivation, but also educated me in the history and diversity of this plant. This book does both these things is a very easily understandable way. It is the type of book to borrow from a friend, not necessarily have of copy of unless you plan to go into commerical production of garlic. The major focus of the book is very helpful for the small farmer.
