I love this book! It is an indespensable resource for me. Organized by month, I read the current chapter regarding things to do and it reminds me what plants and things I can get going on for a particular time of year. Also, it refers to three different micro climates, coastal, high mountain. It also got very detailed but simple instructions on how to grow many of the beautiful plants that thrive here in northern california. I refer to it over and over again every year, maybe I'll have the whole thing memorized soon. This book is really good.
