This little book is really a "must-have." Primarily good for beginners, it also helps those of us who are familiar with the desert, but stray out of our own micro-desert and encounter something we're not familiar with (or forgot about).

It's so cleverly put together that it's actually kind of fun to go through the steps to identification--and yet it's very easy to do.

I keep a beat-up copy in my pickup truck so that I'm never caught without it, and another at home just in case.
