Good basic field ID. book, black and white photos. Seperate sections on bark, leaves, fruit and buds. very thorough. This book was required reading at the Tree pruning company my DH worked for. good and useful, I keep two copies. Aimed more at the Arborist or naturalist than the gardener. I think Dirrs or Hilliars is more for the gardener.
