Great color plates and some line drawings makes it easy to identify flowers. However, the book was nearly useless in Vancouver, BC. I guess they'd need a whole new book for that. :D
Even though I live in the Eastern half of the US, I still have a copy of this. It is a great read with information about the plants that normally one would not find in a field guide.
Native American lore and uses are included and the information is very interesting.
Similar plants included in each description help with identifying a plant that may not be exactly like the plate.
