Information on Arcadia Nursery (Jacques/Brower Design, Inc.)

I visited the nursery last week while on 'vacation'. The women who helped me were very attentive, answered my questions, and I walked out with some unusual shade plants that I normally only find in catalogs. Selection wasn't fantastic but they were in the middle of some remodeling. I would definitely go back.

Great unusual selection of plants and superior service. They really went out of their way to help me and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this company both for design, installation and exceptional knowledge.

Arcadia Nursery and Brower/Jacques Design did a wonderful job for me! They were polite, attentive and in every way working with them was a wonderful experience.

I've read the negative comments, and I am shocked. Ron and Cheryl always answered questions, replaced plants in a timely manner, and were very professional. They bent over backwards to accommodate my busy schedule, even meeting with me after their traditional business hours,

I have had Arcadia nursery do both design and installation work on my previous home and most recently on a home I just moved into a few years ago... they have always been wonderful people to work with... the owners and their staff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a landscape design and installation of the design. They have always gone over and above what is expected of them. They have a wonderful BBB record.

Over promise and under deliver! Felt as if Cheryl and Ron (owners) were completly working against us as apposed to working with us. Once the contract was signed, we never saw Cheryl or Ron again. Only spoke briefly on the phone when there was something that they wanted to disagree with us about. Throughout the job, all we heard from Ron and Cheryl is how it was not there "policy" to do this and that. Nothing but excuses telling us we are out of luck versus working with us towards a solution. They significantly delayed the project from the beginning, and then tried to get in and out as fast as possible. DON'T USE THEM. They do not care about you. Just care about $$$

DO NOT USE. Very poor customer service. Items not delivered when promised...and no phone call to tell you. Services promised, but then told that they're not included. Phone calls not returned. We were made to feel that they are "out to get you" in one way or another (i.e., selling you more soil or mulch than you need or could use). This company was very frustrating to work with - save yourself the hassle.
