Wedel\'s is my favorite nursery in the Kalamazoo area, and we have some good ones. They have a huge selection and very friendly, helpful staff, not to mention a lovely set up. I especially love that they are not afraid to fly the Christian flag in front of their store and mention Jesus on the calendar they distributed at the end of 2015. I will be attending several seminars during their flower and garden expo this year and am looking forward to kicking off spring 2016 with these guys!

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Most of the employees are avid gardeners, and many have formal credentials such as Master Gardener, Certified Nurseryman, etc. Family-owned and operated for decades. Great selection of perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, tools, fertilizers, etc, etc.. Nice selection of books, and sometimes I find titles I haven't seen at bookstore. The facility was created by Wedel's a few years ago, and includes the store building, a very small cafe (call ahead for hours of the cafe), an indoor greenhouse for houseplants, an attached greenhouse for annuals etc., a slatted portico for shade loving plants, and outdoor display areas for perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, and hardscape materials. The outdoor display areas have wonderful water features. Obviously I love going there!
