Last time I visited, I'm sad to say, the prices had gone up by about as much as the prices at my grocery store, so not as much of a bargain place as it has been in the past.
But I will still go and encourage you to visit, for the feeling of being in Mexico visiting those fun market/bazaars. |

It's like having a little piece of Mexico in your own backyard. There are varieties of bananas and peppers that you won't find in the grocery store and exotic fruits that I'll admit I didn't recognize. There are also stands with spices and dried peppers. Fruit producing plants are also available for sale. It says that it's open every day from 6 a.m. to 8:30 pm. I've only gone on Saturday mornings, so I don't know if all the vendors are there on other days. Also, I kept making a fool out of myself by noticeably sniffing the air. The aromas of the spices and fruits are just wonderful! |
