It is a large tract of land with fields, meadows, and woods. It contains a number of historical buildings from the 18th century and also the 19th century and some memorials. It has a visitor center with a shop inside, bookstore, and various museum exhibits and a movie show about the encampment of the Continental Army in 1777 & 1778 with George Washington. Lof cabin reconstructions have been built in a few different parts of the park.
