My, oh my, they are all they say they are. I've spent $100's of dollars here in the last 5 years or so. I was heading out to the end of Moon Rd. one day, to a u-pick blueberry farm when I spotted this nursery. They are the real thing when it comes to local stock. Mr. Lael is in his late 70's or 80's and the knowledge to go with those years. He is still moving plants around and trekking around this very large property with mature plantings all over the place. You can see how something you are looking at in a 5 gal pot will look in 10 years. Not only is Mr. Lael a source of information, but I have never been steered wrong by their two staff members, who have also been around for years. Prices are very fair for the size and quality of plants. If you are looking for just the right tree or shrub for a particular spot, you won't be sorry to make your way out to Laels.
