I have to say after shopping Home Depot and Orchard for plants for years, I love going to West End Nursery! Their prices might be a little higher, but they know what they are talking about. Several times I've asked what to put in certain areas, and they have always been a fountain of knowledge. The plants always look great too, no broken stems or withered leaves. I've been getting my plants there for over 2 seasons, and haven't been disappointed once.
A fun place to walk around, and they have a lot of exotics, but few natives. I didn't find them in the least bit helpful, in fact rather condescending. Once you look at their stuff, it's the same you can buy anywhere else.

super good supply of fruit trees, citrus trees, camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas, all the best growers!
Bare root fruit trees and roses, tremendous collection of perennials, anuals, flowerpots, garden tools, ornaments... What ever you need; they have it!
Very helpful people, always there to help, answer questions.
The best in Marin, for my money!
Go there first, you won't be dissapointed!
