Open each weekend from 7:30 a.m. to approx 1:00 p.m. each Saturday beginning the first weekend in April and ending the last weekend in October. (From October through end of Winter there is a small group of vendors that sell every other weekend, the first and third Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00.)
Offering items such as fresh locally grown produce, home-baked goods, crafts (baskets, pottery, gourd art), plants (veggie seedlings, annuals, perennials, herbs).
Ya gotta love it! On July 17th, 2007, Horseshoe added the following:
In addition to the items offered (previously mentioned) the Hillsborough Farmers' Market also offers farm fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, goat, lamb, and bison.
There is also a Wednesday Market during the summer months until first frost. Hours are from 4:00 to 7:00. The Wednesday Market is located on Churton Street just south of the Eno River bridge.
See you there!
