I have been going to this family owned/operated nursery for the past 13 years. Looking at the google map on the "Info For Needham's Nursery" page is not a "tell all" indicator. Im assuming it was during the off season. The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The nursery, from spring to fall, is always well stocked with plants (both annuals & perennials), trees, bushes, bags of soil, products for pests, fungus, deterrents, growth, nutrients, etc. They have mounds of gravel, soil, dirt & mulches, for pick-up or delivery. They usually can deliver the same or next day. They will also deliver plants, trees, etc. There is a charge for delivery, which I think is reasonable. During the fall & winter they sell seasonable items like pumpkins, gourds, Christmas trees, etc (sorry about all the "etc".). They mark special occasions like The 4th of July by having a professional fireworks display (Ive heard "to give back to the community"). It seems that each year they add more special events. No matter if you call or are in person they will answer any/all questions, explain how to make a home remedy or help you with picking out the best plants for your landscape. I have even called to see if they had a certain plant and a certain number of the them and asked if they would hold them for me until I was able to come by. They have never had a problem with doing this. If they dont have a plant that you want they can usually order it for you. You can also go to their website and pre-order, usually getting them in a few days up to a week. Their plants are healthy but if any do die I believe they have a money back guarantee. I cant say enough good things about Needhams Nursery, the owners and employees. Their employees have always been helpful and respectful, taking extra care in loading your purchase into the car or truck. I think my favorite thing, besides all the great flowers, is that they have the grounds set up with a stereo system! Plants like music, right?! I would refer anyone to them over any other nursery. If you live in or near Mt Juliet, go check em out for yourself.
