As always Regan's nursery exceeds my expectations. One very good reason the employees are helpful & knowledgeable is because a number of years ago the business was about to be sold. Instead of selling to just anyone they sold to the employees. So they scraped together all the dough they had and bought the business. I live in Fremont & have shopped at Regan's for years. But this nursery has definitely come a long way. My salute to those hard working people.
They have always said they would guarantee their plants but I've never had to test it. I follow their suggestions for planting & maintaining and it's always paid off. Last year I ordered a dwarf tangerine tree in August, as I sit here today, one year later, my tree is full of fruit that should be ripe in about one month. I can't wait. Thanks

Great plant selection and potted displays for inspiration. Specializes in their extensive rose selection. Their end-of-season rose sales make this a must visit stop in late summer.

Regans is GREAT! VERY helpful staff who know all about plants. If you ask one person, and they aren't familiar with the plant, they will page someone else. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I go to them for most of my plants and planting questions :) Regans will always be my #1 Nursery. Wonderful selection of Roses!

Ditto what is already posted -
They have people that will talk to you and they have a large selection of parts accessories for fountains - ponds with plants .
They stock a lot of books on plants , roses , orchids etc .
They will order plants for you and if you don't like - you don't have to pay - and no deposit on ordered plants .
They carry a large selection of trees - shade and fruit .
They charter busses for large flower shows - a little more than you would pay for bridge - parking - gas but carry-ing the plants back to buss kind of sucks - no place to store them . One person - you break even - 2 or more - cheaper to drive . They generally have discount tickets and can tell you if a show is going on close . Nice when you have vistors to say lets go to the **** plant show

Large nursery with a large range of plants from 6 packs to specimen trees and shrubs. Specializes in roses, but has a great variety of succulents, shade plants, trees, etc. It also has a large variety of statuary and all the garden supplements you may need.
