The quality of the plants is excellent, the setting is beautiful, and the staff (especially Jan) is friendly and knowledgeable. They are my go-to local nursery. |

The Yoshino Cherry tree I got there is thriving like you wouldn't believe. I got it in 2005 and it's 3 times the size it was when I planted it.
Last year I bought some Mexican Roses from them and some from another ( cheaper ) place. Planted them in identical pots and the ones from Country Gardens took off way ahead of the cheaper ones.

You can find cheaper stuff at the big-box stores, and even some other nurseries, but CGC's plants are uniformly large, of excellent quality, and I've never had a diseased or insect-infested plant in over 10 years of dealing with them.
They have a wide variety of perennials, shrubs and trees, stay up with the trends, and Jan is super with perennials - has taken many classes at Longwood gardens. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They will also deliver and install, and sell bulk, topsoil, mulch, etc. Give them a try; I think you won't be disappointed. |
