Wide selection of plant material, kept in good shape. Also wide variety of ferts, chemicals, garden goodies, etc. It doesn't hold a candle to its parent in Las Vegas, of course -- but nonetheless a VERY good nursery.

Star Nursery ("Homed" in Las Vegas, Nevada) announced that they were closing all locations in AZ effective 10/2008. The three I'd previously visited are, in fact, closed. The Bell Avenue location became a Desert Winds; the one in Surprise is now a Moon Valley Nursery. |
