I just love this little nursery. I am rating this as excellent because it is not the usual type of nursery, carrying offbeat plants you do not find easily elsewhere. Also there are very few nurseries that makes my day when I get to stop in and just poke around as this nursery does.

It is located in the big yard of a quaint older home. And though you feel you are out in the country, it is very close to Highway 101 so easy to drop by when you are on 101.

I so enjoy poking around to see what is new and even to visit some of the older plants the owner, Robert, collects himself. It is obvious this is a very personal nursery of a plant person who loves plants.

He also usually has lots of the newest introductions in plants and carries them earlier than other nurseries if they even get them in.

Among my favorites are his interesting collection of arisaema, farfugiums and podophyllums, yuccas and cordylines. It is so nice to have a local source for the more exotic ones of these.

Robert also had a succulent greenhouse and will sell you an offset of one of his special ones if available.
